How do I get started?

First, register for the course by creating a student login account by clicking "get started" at the top of this page. From there, you can explore the course outline and purchase (transactions made in USD) to gain full access to the modules.

How many modules and lessons are in the course?

The curriculum includes 23 modules with over 100 lessons. You will learn how to position your body and get into the proper alignment, how to save the handstand, general guidelines to get the most from the practice, accessory work (such as rehab, flexibility, and conditioning training), how to kick up and bail out, and block training progressions (step-by-step mini programs that take you from beginner to advanced techniques). 

How are the lesson structured?

Each lesson includes a written article with supplemental images and videos. There is a logical order to the curriculum, and you are required to progress sequentially through the modules and lessons. Each lesson builds up to the next. Once you complete a lesson, the next lesson will automatically become available. 

How long do I have to complete the course?

There is no deadline to complete the course, and I encourage you to progress at your own pace.

You will always have access to the content. 

How can I use this certification to further my career as a hand balancer and trainer? 

In addition to being able to perform a high-level free-balancing handstand, you will be able to teach others how to progress from beginner to advanced techniques. If you are a coach, you can use the block training progressions as a template for teaching classes. If you are simply interested in hand balancing, this course sets you up to learn and be able to perform the more advanced press-to-handstand and one-arm handstand techniques, which are covered in the Level 2 and Level 3 courses (coming soon).
