The complete
one-arm handstand method.
Wherever you arrived from — ready, curious, refining, or plateaued — the only complete roadmap to a clean one-arm. The Bboy. The Flag. The Figa. And beyond. Step by step.
Modules 1–9 unlock day one · Modules 10–15 complete by November 2026 · lifetime access.
Foundation first.
The rest follows.
"Don't celebrate your steady holds.
Celebrate the fights."
Six phases.
One clear road.
Foundation → one-arm shapes
Every phase is built on the one before it. No phase asks more than your body's ready for. By the last phase, you don't reach for the shapes — you arrive at them.
Body position. The shapes. The shoulders. The body shift.
Where the position is actually built.
Sharpening the fingertip and the shift.
Bridging stability to true balance.
The freedom you've been earning.
The reason for everything. Modules 10–15 complete by November — locked in at pre-purchase.
Built for the students ready to own the one-arm — and the ones who will be.
The one-arm handstand is the most advanced bodyweight skill on earth. Most training systems try to sell you a shortcut. This one gives you the complete method — the same one I've used for fifteen years — so you can train it right the first time. Buy the education now. Start the practice when you're ready.

The complete beginner · welcome You're just starting. That's fine. This course gives you the full education upfront — what the one-arm actually is, how it's built, why most people never get there. The information is yours today. The practice begins when your foundation is ready.

The plateaued advanced student You've been chasing the one-arm for years and hit a wall. This course is the missing methodology — the reason your reps aren't compounding into a hold.
Whatever your starting point — this is the complete road.
Miguel Sant'ana
Founder of Art of Handstands · The one behind the method.
Fifteen years chasing the one-arm handstand. Started in 2011 in an Auckland living room after a YouTube video hit me the wrong way — and never stopped. Everything you'll learn in this course was built the hard way: fixed on my own body first, then refined across thousands of students in over thirty countries.
I don't teach shortcuts. I teach the complete method — the one that survives every plateau and takes you to the shapes most people never touch.

Why this
actually works.
Five principles that turn wobbly attempts into a one-arm you own — built from the ground up, in the exact order your body needs.
Foundations first
The work you do here pays off for years. Skip it, and you'll only rebuild it later — slower, and from scratch.
Eight cues · the Secret Weapon
The full engagement sequence almost nobody teaches — seven foundational cues plus the Wrap that locks the one-arm in. Master it and the one-arm stops being luck.
Alignment you can measure
Real angles, not vague cues. You'll always know whether you're on the line — or quietly cheating it.
Quality over the clock
Your last five seconds should look like your first. That's the difference between a hold and a habit.
Understanding, not imitation
Learn why every piece works, and you'll never lose the skill — or plateau on it — again.
Built once.
Built more.
A complete training system, growing module by module. Pre-purchase locks you in for lifetime access — every program, every progression, every module added after launch.
You don't design your own plan. You follow the one that's already built.
-
01
Every program tells you exactly what to do.
Warm-up, the work, rest intervals, self-check questions at the end. Tomorrow's session is already decided. No guessing.
-
02
Built-in adjustment. No shame.
If a week's program doesn't land, drop back to the previous one and stay longer. The roadmap waits. Doing it well matters more than doing it fast.
-
03
Honest gates measure your progress.
Program 9. Program 14. Program 26. Every program has its own standard — you advance only when you meet it. The clock is flexible. The standard is not. Some students hit each standard in the target weeks. Others take longer. Both are correct if the standard is met.
-
04
The session itself evolves with you.
As your one-arm work grows, the rest of your session quietly trims. The plan thinks for you about everything — what to add, what to keep, what to let go.

Do I need to already have a handstand?+
Yes — you should be able to hold a solid two-arm handstand (around 60 seconds, or close) before starting. The one-arm builds directly on that. If you're not there yet, start with one of my foundational courses first.
How long until I get my one-arm handstand?+
Honestly? It depends on your starting point and how consistently you train — and I won't promise you a number, because anyone who does is selling you something. What I can promise is the clearest, most complete path there is, and that if you follow it, you won't be wasting your time on the wrong things.
The goal is to get you there as well as possible, not just as quickly as possible.
How often should I train?+
Ideally 3–5 times per week, 1–2 hours per session (not counting your warm-up). The course includes the full 57-week Practice Roadmap — 35 programs across the phases of training, plus 7 downloadable Practice Roadmap PDFs (one per module, printable, for practice at the wall). Each program is a complete session you follow week by week. Not "a sample" — the actual plan.
Do I need any equipment?+
Very little. A clean wall (about 3 metres of space), a stopwatch (or your phone's stopwatch — not a timer), a phone for filming yourself, and a notebook. That's enough for the first 24+ weeks.
Late in the course (back-to-wall fingertip work) you'll also want one yoga block for the shoulder isolation drill. Nothing exotic, nothing expensive.
What makes this different from free tutorials?+
Free tutorials teach the shortcut version — coming off the wall by sinking and leaning. It feels faster and hits a ceiling fast. This course teaches the foundation that the shortcut skips, which is the only thing that actually gets you to the advanced shapes.
Is this a one-time purchase or a subscription?+
One-time payment, lifetime access. You pay once and the course is yours — every lesson, every future update, every new shape I add. No subscription, no renewal.
When does it launch?+
